Bio
Madeline is a women’s rights and gender policy specialist. She previously served on the senior leadership team at the campaign for a new global treaty specific to ending violence against women as head of writing. Earlier, Madeline worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Columbia Law Center for Intersectionality and Social Policy Studies and African American Policy Forum, on campaigns including #SayHerName. She started her career at global law firm King & Wood Mallesons. While a lawyer, Madeline worked primarily in the litigation practice group, maintained an extensive pro bono practice, and held multiple leadership roles in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Madeline has also worked as a consultant. She has collaborated with organizations including Diversity Council Australia, The Gender Security Project, GIZ (Germany’s international development agency), and TIME’S UP.
