Bio
Leo was rescued from a puppy mill in Alabama and brought to Florida in 2015. After graduating from canine boot camp, he became a nationally certified therapy dog specializing in children’s visits and community events. Leo has participated in child engagement research at Rollins College, and in 2016 was one of response teams that supported families after the Pulse Nightclub shooting. In 2019, he was appointed Chief Canine Officer at Sharity. He is responsible for morale, client visits, and staff satisfaction.
