Leo was rescued from a puppy mill in Alabama and brought to Florida in 2015. After graduating from canine boot camp, he became a nationally certified therapy dog specializing in children’s visits and community events. Leo has participated in child engagement research at Rollins College. In 2016 he formed part of the response teams that supported families in the aftermath of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. He joined Sharity in 2019 as Chief Canine Officer at Sharity.
