Katy Ridnouer

Bio

Katy has been an educator for 30 years and is the Founder and CEO of KLR Partners. In this capacity, Katy serves as a Grant Writer, Principal Coach and Advisor, and School Start-Up Specialist. She has helped schools win over $56M in grant funding to support their services and programming and teaches educators how to write foundation, corporate, state, and federal grants. 

Katy started her career as a Reading Specialist and English teacher for middle, high school, and community college students. Katy is the author of two education books published by ASCD, Everyday Engagement and Managing Your Classroom with Heart. In 2013, she founded VERITAS Community School and served as its Principal. She also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Charter School Program Grants and wrote education articles for Education Week for nearly five years.
