Bio
Carolina is an international relations professional who has over 12 years of experience working with multicultural non-profit organizations. Throughout her career, she has developed and managed strategic projects in areas including education, human rights, public relations, operations, and fundraising. At Colombia’s Universidad del Norte, where she worked from 2010 to 2021, Carolina was responsible for managing large-scale international programming, and designing strategies to expand the institution’s international and local partnerships with non-profit, private, and public organizations. Additionally, she led the conceptualization and implementation of a comprehensive employability program, which provided over 1,500 students with professional counseling, training, and internship placement opportunities. From 2022 to 2023, Carolina provided programmatic, operational, and project management support at the diplomatic campaign for a new global treaty on violence against women and girls.
