Dr. Cecilia McInnis-Bowers

Dr. McInnis-Bowers has worked in the Carter administration, Fortune 100 companies, national nonprofits, and institutions of higher education and or as a consultant/executive coach. She is also Professor Emeritus in the Department of Social Entrepreneurship, Rollins College, and is an Ashoka ChangeMaker Faculty.

The scope of her consulting practice ranges from organizational development to personal discovery and effectiveness. She is a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner and primarily uses the Inventory to foster self-discovery, continuous improvement of leadership skills. She designs programs specific to the needs of clients. She focuses on the pragmatic implementation of newly acquired knowledge to foster new attitudes and leadership skills.

Dr. McInnis-Bowers earned a Bachelor’s in Education from Florida State University, a Master’s in Health Education, from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University in Education. She holds a postdoctoral degree in Marketing Theory from the University of Alabama.
